Istanbul, Turkey

Hi Istanbul, this was last 2 christmas when i was still in Switzerland having my internships. Since, there is nothing opening during the Christmas, I decided to fly 6 hours from Zurich to Istanbul for Christmas holiday.
Well, I can't supply a lot information for you travelling to Istanbul because me and my friends were somehow taking tour taxi but the picture below with the mosque behind, is a MUST to go. Nearby, there is a street where those travelling tv program always recommend. In the street, there is lot of stores asking and negotiating to catch your attention. Even though, i don't really understand what they are talking about, it was quite scary to walk alone if you are a girl, haha.

Turkey separated into two parts, a part in Asia and another part in Europe, however they use Euros. We stayed at the Asia part and we should get to the Europe part for the tourist destination, please remember to check properly before booking a hotel or else you will ended up to be like me taking taxi tour the whole time, which is quite boring as the duration to get to another part of Istanbul is about an hour. Their lifestyle is not very high, so you dont need to worry about the spending.

What is for souvenirs?
Turkey is famous for their sweets, you can actually see all these sweets with the above picture showed. All these sugar thing with nuts are really good to bring back as gift. Well, I personally is not very delighted with these tiny little desserts perhaps they are too sweet for me? hmmm, but they are real good in shape and pretty cool packaging.
I remembered my friend went to Istanbul before me, she brought me a liquid eye liner green metallic in color really suitable for Asian girls. She said, the eye liner pen is famous in Istanbul that's why she brought me that. hehe..
Hmm..what else to talk about? Oh, with the overall opinion, i would say be careful because it is not your own country where you know the surroundings because i remembered there was a man queuing up in front of me into the mosque was holding a gun, I MEAN....a normal guy. So, yea..you must remember avoid any problems, troubles stay safe whenever and wherever you are going.

Thank you ;)

Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein is one of the smallest country in the world using Swiss Franc and speaking german language. If you are going to Liechtenstein from Switzerland. Well again, I went there with my friend from Zurich main station (Zurich HB) to Sargans. From there, you will take a bus to a place called Vaduz. Again, you can always download the SBB app or checking the train schedule via www.sbb.ch because i think this website is really useful if you re travelling from Switzerland does not matter intercity or inter-country. Vaduz is the place where you get down the duration of getting there is about one and an half hour. Vaduz is the capital city of Liechtenstein you actually will not know if you have arrived the place because this country is situated in between Switzerland and Austria and the structures, buildings most likely similar to each other. Therefore, be sure you get down at the right station.

There is a castle situated on top of the hill where I think you have to take another bus or by walking up. I didn't get up to the castle on that day because that day was a holiday. Also, please stay close with the train schedule because there is only a train per hour if i'm not mistaken and the latest train would be about 6 or 7pm.

Liechtenstein may not be an attractive destination, however, it is the place where they create and sell world stamps which is a pretty cool place you should stay for a day, just a day! =)

Matterhorn, the chocolate mountain Zermatt

Me and my friends went to this place which called Matterhorn in Switzerland during our internships' off. It was in south of Switzerland near Geneva or Lugano part. It is always easy to travel around if you are using smart phone. Download the app called "sbb" or via computer type on www.sbb.ch from there, you can always find the place, location, duration, and schedule to get to your destination. Switzerland is unlike like other parts of EU. They don't use Metro instead, they have their own transportation with their own controls.

The mountain is about 4477 meters height, we were managed to get up to the station called Gornergrat. We departed at Zurich HB (the main station) to Zermatt. From there, we took another small train up to Gornergrat. From this area/ region, you can really see the mountain of "Toblerone". The best time to get there with my personal point of view would be during September till the beginning of November because it is still a bit warm and sunny when you get up to the mountain. Furthermore, you don't need to be worried about daylight as normally December time the sun will go down at about 4pm or 430pm.

Remember to wear good attire for hiking up the hill, please don't wear high heel boots just because you want to look nice in the picture because the mountain road to get up to the top is narrow and slippery. There is actually a restaurant up on the mountain. Unfortunately it was closed when we were there.
Hope you will have fun in Klein Matterhorn, enjoy Zermatt mountain =]

We actually found this pretty cool cafe down at the Zermatt town. There is actually a place where you can walk around, there is a small street with unique cafes and shops you can get some souvenirs over there. Well, come back to the cafe we were obsessed with, this cafe is double-storey and it is really a small little invisible cafe along the shop lots. I don't really remember the cafe's name, but you will find it because there is only a small little street in Zermatt and it is called Bahnhofstrasse, the main street. We ordered a hazelnut coffee, caramel coffee and hot chocolate. Their hot chocolate is using this little "froze" on the stick chocolate so whenever you want to consume it, heat up the milk and put the chocolate stick into the cup and it will eventually melt and mix up together.
Had fun, thanks Jess and Cyrus. <3 p="">

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

The Heidihof in Maienfeld, Switzerland

The first picture i took after i get down from the trains. It was quite a nice walk as the weather was real good, not so hot though. Remember to bring bottle of water and wear a nice pair of shoes as the road to the Heidi House was quite a distance.

This is a part of how the Heidi House looks like, this was the space they "so-called" kitchen which used during the day. I didn't really take pictures from inside because I think people who is interested should spend sometime exploring themselves in this "wonderland", its worth to tour. Furthermore, there were lots people walking in the house, i couldnt get a proper image :\

The Heidi House from behind.
We didnt manage to finish the whole Heidi-land but we had fun there. Remember to get the stamp from the souvenir shop and the certificate of Heidi visits, it was 5CHF if i was not mistaken?!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The reflection

After almost 4 years living in Switzerland, I started to realise leaving this country is quite miserable. I still remember the very first year when i was 17. (silly smile) reached a place where you can hardly understand what are they speaking in the surrounded area until i reached my school where they speak english. No doubt I'm so blessed to be here studying in the center of Europe where i can always travel around the EU and i am proud to be. I really would like to thank my parents in fact my family supporting me all while. Opps, especially my papi. He has been arranging all my educations since young and i do not really need to be worry about it because i know that he will help me with everything i need. I do miss my parents and i think this is a very time i need to go home and start gratitude.

After all these while, again i learned a lot from here seeing and reflecting all things i ve been through. Things that i need to learn and things that i need to enhance. Thanks everyone for giving me a chance entering your life to make my life more meaningful. I have no regret knowing all of you no matter friends that tried to used me or friends who hurt me, of course those besties. I will remember you guys as always and i would like to give you guys real good good hug before leaving Switzerland if you re still here because we never know when we will see each other the next time anymore.

I ve been travelling during my journey and i truly understand and adapted the life somehow in europe and i really love it. Now i am staying in a house where the host family is super super great. after all this year i finally found the family love that i have been craving for the past years without my parents by my side. They were extremely good and were trying to make variety of good food, and guess what? I;m loving it! I dont know what would be in the future but i'm wishing they will have good life and health, i think i will be crying the moment when i leave this home sweet home =(  I made a polaroid for them today, i hope they will like this cute cute little photo as a memory. Im gonna miss them both > <

Berlin 10612

Le Berlin day. It was still before my internship started. I went to Berlin with some friends and surprisingly this place has so much fun and it was really amazing how people live in Berlin unlike where I am now however, I should be happy and satisfied with whatever im facing. These gave me a lot thoughts.

The rumours- Germany salted pork hand. Yummy =9

We had great fun watching Germany versus Greece at that night in the public area.
Come to Berlin! <3 p="p">
